We are in the midst of the festive season. This time of year, I hear people talk more often about gratitude and counting one’s blessings. As they spend quality time with their loved ones, they reflect on how grateful they are for all that they have and appreciate those special moments spent with family and friends. But once the festive season passes – some people tend to forget about being grounded in gratitude. They soon get caught up in the daily grind of life and forget to stop and appreciate the good things they have in their life. They lose the warm glowing feel of gratitude as they begin to only talk about the negatives and complain about people, events and circumstances. Gratitude shouldn’t be a seasonal practice – but an everyday one. Gratitude is a powerful force which can transform your life. It is one of the quickest ways to snap out of a depressed or negative state and positively reprogram your mind.
One of the easiest ways to activate the Law of Attraction – is to find more things to be grateful for. Appreciate the beauty around you and give thanks for the blessings you have. When you practice gratitude – it places you in a positive space. When you are feeling positive it becomes easier to attract more good things into your life. Practicing gratitude also aligns you with joy and positivity.
As we enter 2017 – set your intention to begin a daily practice of gratitude.Wake up feeling grateful each morning and go to bed at night also feeling grateful for the day you’ve had. Even if something negative happened – look for something positive to focus on. You can always find something to be grateful for. If you look hard enough – you will find it.
Keep a gratitude journal by daily writing down three to five things you can be grateful for. Remember you create your life with your thoughts, feelings and emotions. Make gratitude a daily part of your life – and you will be amazed by the wonderful things you attract and the miracles that come your way.
